About us
Tecolote Backyard Homes designs, permits and builds accessory dwelling units for San Diego County homeowners. We are 22 people: designers, a permit desk, site leads and the crews that frame, wire and finish.
We work on one kind of project because the rules, the utilities and the city offices are the hard part, and the more of them you have seen, the fewer surprises there are.
Our front office and several site leads speak Spanish. Ask for one when you call, and we will bring them to the first visit.
